Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, access to the terminal building is limited to those who have a flight ticket, or valid reason to go to “Lost and Found” to collect lost baggage or an object that was missing in transit, or to those dropping off or picking up either a reduced mobility passenger or a minor travelling alone. If you go to the airport to pick a passenger up or see one off, you will not be allowed inside the terminal building and will have to wait outside.
You can only access Terminal A by the West Door situated on the Arrivals Floor, while you can only exit through the East Door on the same floor.
All the doors to the Departures Floor are closed and the slip road leading up to the floor is closed to traffic.
The airline check-in desks open 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure time: the check-in area is on the first floor of the Terminal building.
There are 4 charging-points with multiple outlets also via USB in the Arrivals area and 8 in the Boarding area as well – a total of 144 outlets.
There are 36 charging-points in Terminal C, too.
Catania Airport car parks are open 24 hours a day.
There are 2 ATM cashpoint machines inside Terminal A: 1 is located on the Departures floor (first floor), near the Alitalia Lounge and 1 is located in the Boarding area.
